Welcome to September, you freaks! Who else wishes it would cool off around here? I feel like I'm melting every time I go outside. OK, enough bitching about the weather, here's what's happening. It isn't much since not very many bands decided to send me something to write about, so here you go:

- G9 has reformed with 3 of the original members and will be playing their first show in almost 5 years on September 29th at the Timeout in Concord, CA.

Since that was the only news sent to me on the local front, here are a few items about national signed bands:

- Machine Head bassist Adam Duce suffered a broken leg while dirt biking up in Redding, and will miss out on playing the Black Tyranny Tour of the U.S. with Arch Enemy, Throwdown, and Sanctity this fall. The band is rehearsing with temporary replacement candidates, so the tour will go on as scheduled. Duce will return for the Australian and European "legs" (haha, sorry) of the Black Crusade Tour, beginning with Loudpark in Japan.

- Behemoth will be teaming up with Job For A Cowboy, Gojira, and Beneath The Massacre for the Radio Rebellion Tour for a month, starting in mid-October. They will be trekking across the U.S. while also hitting Canada for a couple dates.

- Finntroll will finally be coming to the U.S., touring for a couple weeks starting later this month and from what I can tell, they aren't bringing along any supporting acts, just playing with what appears to be local bands from each city tour stop.

- Divine Heresy, which is ex-Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares' new band has just released an album entitled Bleed The Fifth and are embarking on the Operation Annihilation tour starting in October with Static-X, Shadows Fall, and 3 Inches of Blood.
