The room was out of control when this band of bro’s finalized their set with a perfect, if not better than the original, rendition of Sepultura’s “Roots.” I can only sum things up with – it was a sight to see all those kids holding their knee caps panting and wanting more.
Two years, no singer and I was singing for another band. I got fired from my job and fired from my band on the same day, so then I hit up Randy and said, “dude, you need a vocalist, right?” He’s like, “yeah.” So I went down there and tried out and fucken made it. He had quit like a week before. He said, “fuck it, I’m out, man. Fuck it.” Then they called him back and said, “we got a singer, dude.”
