Interviews

Interviews with national and underground metal bands.

Cursed – Old School Rules

Cursed

It’s what we know, we’re back to doing what we grew up doing and it’s just a really good thrash show. You’re going to get a lot of cool riffs and it’s going to be pit, pit, pit, you know what I mean. Big circle pits, that’s what we’re after. Come out there and beat the shit out of each other, then after the show’s over have a beer with each other. That’s kind of the philosophy.

Interview with Ken Payne of Shoot The Moon

Shoot the Moon

This scene is such a treat to be apart of with bands like Marcato, Mindrite, and Destrophy who are really out there making heads turn with their music. I’m honored to have shared the stage with those bands.

Interview with Myke Terry of Bury Your Dead

Bury-Your-Dead

If you sit at home enough people will forget about you and when your out touring everyday in everyone’s face it’s not long and people will start paying attention to what your doing.

Beefcake the Mighty of GWAR

GWAR

We stick with it for the most part and the fact that it’s lasted 25 years is a testament to the creative uniqueness of what GWAR is and the fact that, I mean shit, if we couldn’t play our instruments, we’d end up like Lordi’s going to be in two years. I mean, you know we can play and our fucking fans love our shit, they love the show and there you go. We kick ass.

Hear Kittie Rawr

Kittie-Tara-Ivy

…and at the end of the day – it’s all about the music. Don’t let anything else get in the way.

Morbid Miller’s Interview with Mitch Lucker of Suicide Silence!!

Suicide-Silence-Mitch

Don’t write shitty music. Don’t write music that sounds completely like other bands because that’s fucking retarded and you’re not going to get anywhere doing that. You have to tour – if you’re not touring than you’re not going to make it. I can guarantee you that.

Morbid Miller’s Interview with Jason of Godhead

Godhead-Jason

You have to make sure that your worst show is better than everyone else’s best show. I hate when I see an act live and they haven’t rehearsed enough. You have to be tight, tight, tight, end of story.

Morbid Miller’s Interview with Vince of Nuisance!

Vince-Nuisance

Always be cool to people man, so many bands get egos. Throughout the years I have seen these bands come and go. It’s like, “You know, if he would have been cool in the first place, your band probably would have gone a lot further.”

An Interview with Hadassa – The Singer from theNAME

theNAME

We won the Dutch finals and so we went to Copenhagen to play the European finals. It was really cool to go there with the band.

An interview with Sebas from Heidevolk and Chariovalda

…because without friends and contacts you can’t do anything. The rock and metal scene is built up by friends helping each other out just because they are passionate about the music and that’s what’s so great about the scene.
