*Editor's Note: After a few months hiatus, I am very excited to bring to you this latest edition of the Shred Report. Why, you may ask? Because this Shred Report is a special collaboration of news brought to you by the original Shred master Brandon "The Shocker" Glasgow and his successor Dave "the Madman" Pirtle. It only seemed fitting and brings me to the core reason of this little blurb. I regret to inform you that this is also the last Shred Report as the column is being retired due to unforeseen circumstances. It saddens me to see this column come to such a bittersweet end.

I would like to give special thanks and recognition to The Shocker for starting the Shred Report in 2007 (originally the Scene Report) and the Madman for adding his special flare and touch to it these last months. All of their hard work has not gone unnoticed.

So my metal brethren, I present to you the return of and the end of the Shred Report.

It felt very unnatural and wrong to stab another man with a knife. All aversion to stabbing another man disappeared with the first cut. The barrier was broken.

He was very eager to use this to promote Norwegian Black Metal, and scare away "trendy shit kids in bright jogging pants" and other weak personalities.

It's what we know, we're back to doing what we grew up doing and it's just a really good thrash show. You're going to get a lot of cool riffs and it's going to be pit, pit, pit, you know what I mean. Big circle pits, that's what we're after. Come out there and beat the shit out of each other, then after the show's over have a beer with each other. That's kind of the philosophy.
